Bio
JANE
MARQUEZ
Born
and raised in the Midwest, Jane began drawing as a
child, winning her first art contest in second grade.
Although she maintained her love of art while living
on the East coast of Florida and then, San Diego,
California, she didn't begin serious studies until
her two children were in school.
A passionate student of art, after graduating from
Palomar College in San Marcos, California with a Fine
Art Degree, she has continued her studies with renowned
artists, such as Joe Garcia, Sally Strand, William
Scott Jennings, Michael Carter, and William Hook.
Jane's art can be found in many private collections
across the United States and in Europe. Her art has
earned very favorable reviews from art critics, including
Chuck Twardy after her solo show at the City of Las
Vegas' Charleston Heights Arts Center. "Marquez
has a mature sensibility and you can imagine it only
gaining power over time." (Las Vegas Weekly;
